Open Home Open Heart

Open Home Open Heart is our hospitality ministry in the church. Led by David and Judith Berry, this ministry caters for new visitors to Victory. After attending the LIVE dinner, visitors are invited to a home for a meal where other new people and established members meet and enjoy connection. This is a very effective way of helping people settle in to the church and make friends.

Roles:

Host a meal at your home – If you have a hospitality gift and enjoy meeting new people, you will love this area of ministry.

Details:

• Hospitality meals are held 1-2 times a term.

• The host is required to invite and follow up the new guests and try and link them to suitable people in the church (Ps. Craig is always happy to help if uncertain in this area).

• You can have one whenever you like (Sunday lunch can work straight after church or a Saturday night)

Key Serving Opportunities:

• We are looking for someone to become the Open Home, Open Heart (OHOH) representatives for the young adult demographic.

• David and Judith are away on mission in 2011, so having some more hosts to complete the numbers is required.
