Connect Group Leader

Connect Groups are groups of people coming together to enjoy fun, food, spiritual development and prayer. We have a number of connect groups in the church but we are always looking for more. A Connect Group Leader is expected to care and shepherd their group and have the gifts of facilitation and teaching. Some groups focus on deeper bible study, some focus on connection and others focus on similar interests. Connect leaders are expected to attend church regularly and corporate prayer nights.

Roles:

Leader – Hospitable, friendly, warm and loving are great attributes of a connect leader. Being organized and able to facilitate spiritual discussion about the Bible is essential. No person is too young or old. There is suitable training to help you grow into this role.

Details:

• Connect groups meet weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

• The leader is required to ensure the group know about the meetings planned and invite, invite, invite.

• Training occurs through two streams. Attending the Empowered courses and connect training seminars are essential.

Key Serving Opportunities:

• We are looking for connect leaders in the men, women and young adult age demographics.

• If you have a vision to connect with a few people, do life with them and grow spiritually, there is the potential of a connect group in you.
